Types of Storage Tanks We Manufacture

Vertical SS storage tanks are the most commonly used type in pharmaceutical, food and chemical plants. Horizontal storage tanks are preferred where headroom is limited. Underground storage tanks are used for fuel, water and chemical storage below ground level. Pharma-grade cGMP tanks with electropolished interiors are manufactured strictly to 3-A and ASME BPE standards. Conical bottom tanks ensure zero product retention for viscous liquids. Insulated tanks with PUF or rockwool insulation maintain precise product temperature.

Quality Assurance

All tanks are tested hydrostatically before dispatch. Material test certificates, dimensional inspection reports, weld inspection reports and surface roughness (Ra) measurement reports are provided with every tank. For pharmaceutical tanks, full IQ/OQ documentation is available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

We manufacture storage tanks from 500 litres to 1,00,000 litres as standard. For larger capacities above 1 lakh litres, we can fabricate in sections and assemble at site. Underground tanks up to 2 lakh litres are also available.
Pharmaceutical-grade storage tanks are manufactured in SS 316L (low carbon) exclusively. The interior is electropolished to Ra \u2264 0.4\u00b5m surface finish. All material certificates (EN 10204 3.1) are provided.
Small tanks up to 5,000 litres take 2\u20134 weeks. Large tanks and underground tanks take 4\u20138 weeks depending on capacity and complexity.
Yes, we supply storage tanks with top-entry, side-entry and bottom-entry agitators. Agitator types include anchor, propeller, turbine and high-shear configurations.
