Tube materials include CS, SS 304, SS 316, Admiralty brass, copper-nickel and titanium. Shell materials range from CS to SS 316L and Hastelloy for corrosive applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

TEMA B is for chemical process industry service. TEMA C is for general commercial service with lighter construction. TEMA R is for heavy-duty refinery and petrochemical service with the most conservative design. We recommend TEMA R for high-pressure, high-temperature and fouling services.
Yes, we manufacture heat exchangers in Hastelloy C-276, C-22, Hastelloy B, Titanium Grade 2 and 7, and Duplex SS for highly corrosive applications. These materials are used in concentrated acid service, chlorinated solvent applications and seawater coolers.
Gasketed plate heat exchangers can be fully disassembled for cleaning and inspection. Plates are cleaned with a pressure washer. Gaskets should be inspected and replaced every 2\u20135 years depending on operating conditions.
